Representing more than 275,000 members in over 160 countries, the Society is the leading provider of resources to serve the needs of HR professionals and advance the professional practice of human resource management. SHRM has more than 575 affiliated chapters within the United States and subsidiary offices in China, India and United Arab Emirates.
The local SHRM chapter strives to promote Human Resource Management knowledge on campus, to organize students with similar interests, and to interact with the Kern County SHRM Chapter.

Nikki Aringer- Officer
Nikki Aringer is an officer of the CSUB Society for Human Resources club, a member of The National Society for Leadership and Success, and a member of National Honor Society. She will be graduating in Spring 2019 with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources. Aringer has completed an internship with the Kern County Administrative Office in the Human Resources department and ran a Human Resources department for a mid-sized company over the summer. A few of her favorite hobbies include horseback riding, scuba diving, and traveling all over the world. Aringer currently holds an Associate’s degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management and is very excited to start her career in Human Resources Management.

I was born and raised in Bakersfield by both of my Hispanic parents learning to work in the heat picking grapes as a teen. I currently work at Kern Schools FCU as an MSR II and hope to grow my career in Human Resources within the company after graduation.”
